1 box Uncle Ben's Long Grain Wild Rice (original recipe)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can water
(You can add another can of water for moister rice.)
Chicken breasts or tenders
How to make it :
In a greased 9 x 13 pan, mix the box of rice, cans of celery and mushroom soup and
one can of water. I always add the extra can of water because I like moist rice.
Arrange the raw chicken on top of the rice mixture....
Cover and seal with foil......
Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours and "Don't Peek!"
Your house will smell amazing!

Followed exactly - no way this recipe could ever look like the picture. Two thumbs down:(
Tried this recipe today. Did not turn out well at all. I followed the recipe and used 2 cans of water. Rice stuck to the bottom of the dish (baking dish was sprayed with Pam) and chicken was dry. I agree with the previous comment - no way this recipe could ever look like the picture. All in all, not worth the time
I also made this recipe and it was just terrible
The original recipe calls for one envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix. This recipe either chose to omit it or forgot to include it. I've been making this for years using the onion soup mix, and it is very good. Try it.
I made this casserole tonight. I added soy sauce, lemon pepper, seasoned salt and 1/2cupmof milk, then all other items as directed. I cooked it covered at 359 degrees for 1 hour. IT WAS FABULOUS! My whole family loves it. Definitely a new favorite.
We consider this our family recipe . Except to the soup mixture we add 1/4 c cooking sherry fill remainder cup with water so now you have 1 cup liquid mix in rice pour into Well
Greased pan. Chicken on top sprinkle with 1/2 pkg onion soup mix . Cover w foil bake 350 for 45 to 1 hr . They can't wait it permeates the whole house with a delicious scent . Enjoy
I've been making this for years using white rice. Using the Uncle Ben's rice made it even more delicious!
For those whose rice was dry. Try cooking the chicken first, then pour in rice and add the soup. You may still need a can of water since the soup can says to use a can of water or milk. But only one. Then cook until rice is done. You will need to watch it.
